Description:

A fine 12-bore boxlock ejector gun with 30" nitro reproved barrels, bored approx. cyl. & 7/8 choke, 2 1/2" chambers and 14 5/8" pull.  The toplever, rib and forend numbered '2' in gold.  Fences chiselled with stylized acanthus leaves, scroll-backed treble-grip action-body engraved depicting partridges on the right, pheasants on the left and underside all in their natural settings surrounded  by best foliate-scrollwork.  The trigger-guard engraved depicting a gun dog, The highly-figured stock with recoil-pad, a horn-tipped forend, and damascus barrels with flat-rib engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS, 170 NEW BOND ST., LONDON', In  a brass-mounted oak and leather case.
