A 9.3 x 74R (equivalent to .375) sidelock ejector double rifle. 26" chopperlumb barrels (converted to 9.3 x 74R from .350 calibre in 1975).  Raised sight rib engraved in gothic script 'JNo. RIGBY & CO. 43 SACKVILLE STREET. LONDON. W.' Open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-C 1,5..4,5x18 telescopic sight in quick detachable mounts. Tubes engraved 'CAL 9.3X74R REGULATED FOR 285 GRAIN BULLET'. Treble-grip action with rounded bar, removable striker discs, carved leaf fences, automatic safety with push button release and gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail. Dipped-edge lockplates, refreshed acanthus scroll engraving, retaining much renewed colour-hardening and finish. 15" highly-figured replacement pistolgrip stock (and matching fore-end wood) with cheekpieces, sling swivels, the fore-end with ejector / non-ejector selector nut and grip-catch release.
