A 12-bore sidelock ejector with 30" replacement nitro barrels (circa 1935), rib engraved "NEW BARRELS BY MIDLAND GUN CO. BIRMINGHAM", 2 1/2" chambers bored approximately true cylinder and extra full choke. Treble-grip action with finely carved serpentine fences, toplever gold-inlaid "PAPE", automatic safety with gold inlaid "SAFE" detail. Profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork and floral bouquet. 14 3/4: boldly fingured stock with engraved steel heel and toe plates and chequered side panels. Included is its leather case .
