NEDAP In-ground Parking Sensors Installed at West Village in Uptown Dallas. 

 

Nedap  ground level sensors have been installed at on-street / 1 hr. parking spaces, located directly in front of the retail locations in Uptown’s West Village. Using a downloadable mobile app, Nedap sensors direct customers to available spaces in realtime.

 

The sensors were installed to the help parking system owner to enforce the 1 hr. time limits to eliminate parking space abuse and increase the front row space turnover — both of which are very important to the retailers. Currently there are 24 sensors installed, with plans to install 300 more in the area. There are also discussions to install the INDECT Parking Guidance and Space Administration System for each of the retail village's three garages. PGS facilitated the initial sale and is managed the installation of these systems.
