FROG Parking Sensors Installed at West Village in Uptown Dallas. 

According to Chandrea Frantz, President of PGS, the West Village is the first multi-use facility in Texas to use the FROG Sensors. The ground level sensors were installed at on-street / 1 hr. parking spaces, located directly in front of the retail locations. Using a downloadable mobile app, FROG Sensors will direct customers to available spaces in realtime.

 

The Sensors help parking system owners to enforce the 1 hr. time limits to eliminate parking space abuse and increase the front row space turnover — both of which are very important to the retailers. Currently there are 24 sensors installed, with plans to install FROG Sensors at all 300 on-street spaces. There are also discussions to install the INDECT Parking Guidance and Space Administration System for each of the retail village's three garages. PGS facilitated the initial sale and is overseeing the installation of these systems.
